In this course, Angela presents the research and gives examples of what educators can do to help re-train the pathways in the student brain to help them retain information for better outcomes.

While Program #1 may offer some time for workshops and assignment development, Program #2 offers a deeper dive with more time for this.

In addition, this is where Angela begins the discussion on how we can build our students into better professionals by helping to build their professional identity formation throughout their time in your program. Throughout the years, educators, particularly in health profession programs, have noticed a major decline in student professionalism, not just with their patients, but with students, colleagues, and faculty as well. Angela will evaluate what you are already doing in your program regarding student professionalism, and help with methods to develop and strengthen the process.

Program #3 is the most comprehensive program, offering all of the above and more. This program works with all programs, faculty, and leaders at all levels of your institution. Angela offers all of the same research and ideas to update teaching methodologies to all programs in your college. She also works with leaders in the institution to evaluate and modify Mission Statements, Core Values, and learning outcomes on an institutional, program, and course level to reflect the need for producing stronger professionals entering the workforce. There is plenty of time for workshops in this special 2-day event!
